Previously known as the Women in Tech awards, the Diversity in Tech Awards, takes place virtually on October 7th 2021, and will celebrate the achievements of organizations creating a more diverse workplace while striving to narrow the gender gap in the technology sector. The event, which celebrates the best in tech, has been expanded to recognize diversity in all of its forms. It includes 17 categories for both diversity and women in tech.
In recognizing the broad efforts of promoting diversity in the workplace, the awards have been split into two category areas; Diversity in Tech and Women in Tech.
Elena Ionenko is a FinTech entrepreneur with over twenty years of business development, sales, and management experience. Before TurnKey Lender Elena worked on several successful products in Silicon Valley and founded two companies where at different times, she headed up finance, sales, and marketing departments. She often shares her expertise at industry events and in media. For two consecutive years Elena has been recognized among the top 100 women in FinTech by Lattice80, and is named as one of top 25 female leaders in financial technology in the 2020 Financial Technology Report. Elena is also the winner of Finovate’s 2020 Innovator of the Year award, a finalist in numerous technology awards, and a contributor for the Forbes Technology Council.
