In its continuous quest to identify and celebrate female leaders in Fintech, LATTICE80, the world’s largest fintech hub based in London, has honored Elena Ionenko, head of business development for Turnkey Lender, a global leader in credit scoring, decision automation, and loan management software solutions, by including her on its Top 100 Women in Fintech list for 2018.

“It’s no longer a “man’s world” in Fintech,” comments Ms. Ionenko, “Diversity is a result of the common sense approach, not a centralized policy. Women leaders appear on the top positions in fintech not out of political correctness or pity or through “family connections.” Unlike legacy banking, which is, I’m sorry to say, lagging in many respects when it comes to gender equality, women in fintech have a unique entrepreneurial and academic insight. It’s time to start celebrating and rewarding women for their contribution to the finance and technology sector. Our commitment is clearly transforming the space, but we’re still grossly underrepresented. But we are the force to be reckoned with and the top 100 list illustrates that vividly.”

Elena Ionenko is the Co-Founder and Head of Business Development for Turnkey Lender, a cloud-based lending automation software company. Her dedication, persistence, and skill had earned her a spot on the 2018 Top 100 Women in FinTech list. Before Turnkey Lender she occupied several key positions as a top executive in various Silicon Valley businesses.

Elena Ionenko orchestrated and supervised the Turnkey Lender pivot to Southeast Asia and in 2017 alone had managed to increase the customer base by 100% establishing a presence in twenty-eight countries including some of the Western Europe markets as well as the US.

Elena is a seminal opinion leader at AFIN (ASEAN Financial Innovation Network lead by IFC (World Bank subsidiary), an active member of the ASEAN Banking Association, Women in Fintech Association, Women Committee of Singapore Fintech Association, and Female Founders Global network. The UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate, Queen of Netherlands Maxima, has commended for her efforts in the field of financial inclusion. The International Finance Company and the Women in Fintech Association acknowledge Elena’s contributions in promoting and technologically enabling financial inclusion for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA).

Elena Ionenko is a frequent contributor to various media outlets commenting on fintech in general, further economic integration of the underserved regions of the world, and innovative startup management techniques.
